Inhabited Islands
- Grosse Ile: The largest and most well-known of the islands. It's home to most of the township's residents, businesses, and services. 
- Elba Island: Located off the southeast coast of Grosse Ile. 
- Hickory Island: Situated at the southern tip of Grosse Ile. 
- Meso Island (also known as Upper Hickory Island): Connected to Hickory Island by a bridge.1 
- Swan Island: Located near the southern tip of Grosse Ile. 
Uninhabited Islands
- Calf Island: A small island off the southwest coast of Grosse Ile. It's part of the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge and serves as a nesting site for birds. 
- Celeron Island (charted as Tawas Island): Located near the mouth of the Detroit River at Lake Erie.2 
- Dynamite Island (also known as Powder House Island): Located near the shoreline of the main island. 
- Fox Island: A small island off the southeast coast of Grosse Ile. 
- Mamajuda Island: A low-lying island off the northeastern tip of Grosse Ile that is only visible during low water levels.3 
- Stony Island: Located near the shoreline of the main island. 
- Sugar Island: Located near the shoreline of the main island.
